About ERA

ERA Education Recruitment Agency has been established in order to assist schools/educational institutions in the recruitment of teachers and ancillary staff - secretaries, bursars, supervisors, caretakers. ERA aims to facilitate:

1. Third Level Education graduates (with or without the H. Dip. in Education) who wish to teach
2. Other suitably qualified personnel who wish to work in the educational system
3. Schools who have ongoing requirements for substitute, part-time and whole-time teachers as well as ancillary staff.

How we operate

• We have in place a broad database of suitably qualified personnel who register (at no cost) with us by completing the Curriculum Vitae details sought underneath (see CV grid) and sending the completed CV by email to ERA (instructions given at bottom of Grid)
• As schools experience the need for temporary, part-time or whole-time staff, they will contact us by email, fax or telephone. Schools will then be furnished with the names of suitably qualified personnel. It will be a matter for schools/educational institutions to check references and subsequently inform ERA of the name of the person they wish to employ
• Schools/educational institutions will pay the personnel they employ as a result of an introduction through ERA. They will also pay a fee to ERA for the service provided
• Due to costs relating to numerous telephone calls and maintenance of the database, ERA will have to charge applicants for whom we find placements a small fee (see Terms and Conditions)
• ERA provides a service not only for second level schools but also for primary schools and third level colleges.
